From the 29th November to 10th December 2010 the 16th UN Climate Change Conference will take place in Cancun, Mexico.
Strong international agreement is urgently needed to prevent the catastrophic consequences of climate change and help people out of poverty.
Last year’s UN negotiations in Copenhagen were disappointing, and failed to deliver the legally binding climate agreement that Christian Aid and others had advocated for. This year we will be joining thousands of campaigners from around the world to call on world leaders meeting in Cancun to secure international action on climate change.
This section of the website will have all the breaking news from the talks as they happen, so keep checking back for the most up-to-date coverage.
Christian Aid has produced a report on the Cancun climate talks, our demands and what we expect to come out of the negotiations. Download the report below.
