Have faith – act now

‘Have faith – act now’ is a campaign of faith communities, faith leaders and youth in Africa mobilized to represent the widespread call for a just and robust outcome of the COP 17 climate negotiations in Durban, South Africa. The campaign is hosting a series of events, concerts, rallies and actions throughout Africa, linked together by a youth caravan traveling from Kenya to South Africa to get the message across that COP17 must deliver a fair and ambitious climate treaty that secures the future of the continent.

The campaign is a Pan-African initiative that involves 30 African countries and over 25 faith based partners, and is part of the African-developed branch of the Time for Climate Justice campaign (which also supports other initiatives such as the TransAfrican Climate Caravan of Hope.

The campaign is promoting a petition on the website www.havefaithactnow.org
